Does the admission committee members pre-rank the aps?

I was wondering if anybody knew whether or not the admissions committee reviews the applications in order of "best" to worst. During the school tour it was suggested that the individual members rank the files they're responsible for before presenting them at the meetings. This seems to be a logical approach, but is it true?

This does seem logical but I have heard that the order is random and not ranked. Maybe one of the moderators could clarify for us. Thanks.

Hey there, for those who are from NS and may be finding out soon, good luck. On a different note, I also would like to know about the ranking process. So if anyone knows, or think they know, please fill the rest of us in.
