Guest sparkle
I was just curious about Ottawa's out of province applicants. If I am able to make the higher GPA cuttoff for "any other Canadian" (I'm from BC), would I then have the same chances as other applicants or would there still be a preference for Ontario residents? Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, The Ottawa weighted GPA (wGPA) cut-offs are just one family of hurdles in a series of admissions hurdles that you will need to jump. The good news is, however, that although there are a few admissions criteria to meet, (wGPA cut-off, adequate sketch, interview), in Ottawa's process, you advance past these hurdles and don't have to worry about encountering them in the admissions process again. That is, yes, if you've managed to meet or exceed the out-of-province wGPA cut-off then you will be on level terms with in-province and Ottawa-area applicants for the remainder of the admissions process. Cheers, Kirsteen
