Hey niloo,

I was the same way when I started...was really excited to start planning everything out...I didn't end up following any of my plans, but it was fun to just do it anyways :) . All our schedules are password protected, but if you message me, I can email you a copy of one of our block schedules so that you have an idea of what a week is like. I believe that you guys start one week after orientation and exams are generally on the friday of the 5th or 6th week.

Cheers, congrats and see you in the fall!

Hi,

Just wanted to share some info concerning important dates for next year-

The information provided below came directly from the Faculty of Medicine and is based on a draft schedule (thus not "officially" confirmed yet...)- but it may be helpful in getting a rough idea of when some dates will fall. I assume these dates will be finalized before the first week of August.

1. Deadline for the immunization record form- August 20

Note: The CPR course is offered (most likely) in November (at a low cost of $30).

2. Orientation week- August 30-September 3, 2004.

3. Classes start- September 7, 2004 (First Tuesday after labor day weekend).

4. Christmas break starts (last lecture)- December 17, 2004

5. We return- Jan. 4 2005 (?/!)

6. Not sure when Reading week is (Do we even have one?)

7. Last Day of Med1- May 27, 2005

8. Start Med2- Tuesday after labor day weekend (2005)

Hope this helps-

Looking forward to meeting everyone on August 30!

Until then...:smokin
