Anyways, I actually went to a CIBC branch near home today, and the personal banker was ready to offer me the Professional Edge Student LOC for BELOW PRIME, provided I could prove to him that others received below prime. So, if anyone got an LOC (regardless from which bank) for med school with an interest rate below prime, I'd greatly appreciate it if contact me in one way or another. Thanks. In the end, it didn't seem that prime was being offered; thus, it doesn't seem to be the case that any banks are offering prime. It was initially prime + 1, but came down to prime rapidly as a result of competition during my medical school years.
