Guest Ian Wong Posted June 1, 2004 Report Share Posted June 1, 2004 Many/most bursaries require you to be on maximum student loans, since they are generally needs-based. Many of my UBC classmates who weren't on maxed out student loans were either ineligible to receive bursaries, or got significantly less money. I would advise starting the student loan application process now; if anything, getting approved for full student loans should help your eligibility for bursaries.
