Hey,

 

Does anyone know when medical school begins for Queens? I'm planning a vacation and need to know when to return for ticket purposes...

 

I know it's probably late August/early September but does anyone know anything more specific?

 

ie What was the date this year?

September 1st was the orientation plus all the other administrative stuff such as taking pictures for ID and enrolling in classes. I believe the first serious class (i.e. anatomy) didn't start untill Sept 3rd. In my opinion, nothing important is covered in the first week and if you want, you can miss it. However, keep in mind that this is also the week when all the students get to know each other.

i actually called about this a couple of weeks ago (also planning a vacation!!) and was told that everything starts this year on September 6...
