Guest toothy1985
Hi all, I had a really important question. I am going to be in my third year of university in the fall 2005. I am wondering if I wil be applying to dentistry in my third year, will the dental schools be looking at my marks from year 1 and 2 only or also the 3rd year... this is freaking me out as I did not do that well in my first year>: can anyone please let me know. Also, when do you hear back from dental schools. Is it prior to the final grades in May or later when the transcript for the final year is out. PLEASE HELp. thanks :rollin
Guest epzi
I believe that most schools will look at all three of your years, because (and correct me if i'm wrong) i think that you need at least 4 years for most schools to drop your worst. Some schools look at your best two years, like UofS, so that would be a school that would probably be in your favor to apply to (again, i don't remember alot of the admissions stuff for some of the schools so if anyone could confirm this, that would be great).
