Are these viewed before the interview in determining who to invite, or are they simply just used for a quick glance after one's been invited for an interview? Any thoughts would be appreciated... If you think about it, most people are not going to ask someone who they feel will give them a poor reference. Generally they ask those who they will get a good/great/excellent reference letter from so when push comes to shove almost everyone is going to have the same quality reference letter.
