dropping lowest grades when applying in 3rd year ... at which schools?

When applying during 3rd year can one opt for dropping worst grades....if so which schools?

I know that U of T has the following policy for dropping worst grades:

 

"GPA will be calculated eliminating one full-course grade per full year of study."

 

So, in your case, if you would have completed 3 years then you can drop the 3 lowest full year courses (or 6 half year courses).

I would have completed two years and will be in 3rd year while applying....so 3rd years grades may not be considred in admission process......

 

What about other med schools in Ontario?

For the U of A you have to be in the four year pool (so in 4th year) for them to drop anything. Although if you are in this pool, they drop your entire lowest year from your calculation.
