herosahab
Hi Any opinions on mentioning travels in the 48 item sketch? It wasn't like I was backpacking through Europe or something. Just visiting relatives or attending a wedding overseas. Thanks
TimmyMax
Hey, I can't really see how travelling somewhere to attend a wedding or visit your relatives makes you more qualified for admission to medical school, but if you beg to differ, then by all means, feel free to include it in your autobiographical sketch. blinknoodle
Remember that everything you include in your sketch is fair game for interviews. If you don't mind talking about your cousin's wedding in Nepal, include it, otherwise, I'd forego it in lieu of something that says a bit more about yourself. Kirsteen
Hey there, I agree with some of the above, after fielding some questions re: travel that stemmed from my submissions. If you feel you have garnered some experiences that might help you answer a question such as, "What did you learn or appreciate most from that trip?", etc., then include them. If, however, you find that you're close to filling all of the lines of your sketch without including them, and are happy with the balance of activities in your sketch then it might be an idea to forego their inclusion. Cheers, Kirsteen
