I don't mean via your professor, as I know some of my class mates got a job in a lab that way. Is there some sort of online data base that would have job listings for lab work for students ( I already looked in the news paper and found nothing!)? Also, what companies (In Canada) would hire students to do lab work so that I may send them my C.V.. I can think of a few pharmaceutical companies...but that's about it. My lab experience consists of your typical science degree lab courses (ie: Analytical chem., organic chem., bio chem., animal biology, genetics…). Also, I live in Ottawa, so if you know of anyone hiring full time in the summer and/or part time during the school year, that would be great!
