everyoneloveschem Posted November 7, 2006 Report Share Posted November 7, 2006 I just an article on the CMA website saying how the CEO of the Canadian Radiology Association is warning against teleradiology as a solution to our wait time woes. Fine, but he doesn't really give any alternative solutions. He mentions how healthcare is eating up a larger portion of the budget pie, but again he does not suggest any solutions. I have heard that radiologists make a wack of cash. The obvious solution to me would be to pay them less, and to train more. I remember hearing that they (the gov't?) tried something similar, but that the radiologists have such strong pull, that nothing happened. So what are we supposed to do?
