celeron_266
percentiles...to my knowledge...are simply the percent of people that have done worse than you for example, when you are at the 90th percentile, 90% of people have done worse than you..meaning that you are the top 10% of the group no one but the ubc dental school knows how to calculate the final percentile...but the general weighting of the different components is likely to be the following (this is obtained from previous posts) DAT: 30% GPA: 30% interview: 30% LOR, essays, etc: 10% historically, people who is above ~54th percentile will be accepted (this makes sense cuz they are picking 40 from 100)...but depending on how many people rejects the offer....there is a chance that people at about 35th percentile can still get in
bellaortho
Hey Celeron! thank-you for your post. That makes sense now. I was confused orignally, becuase I was wondering how they took into account the people who failed the interview or such. Well I suppose it's a waiting game now. Let's see. ________ HASH
