Nikhila Posted May 4, 2007 Report Share Posted May 4, 2007 Hello, Can anyone recommend a good peds elective in Hamilton? I'm looking for a general peds elective, particularly in adolescent medicine. I'm not very picky, any elective that previous students have really enjoyed would be perfect. As well, I'd appreciate the names of good preceptors Thanks! She provided the following info: Pediatrics at McMaster Contact information can be found at the website http://www.fhs.mcmaster.ca/pediatrics/index.html (just click on "Faculty" at the navigation bar at the top) Dr. Moyez Ladhani - peds residency programme director - lots of fun, laid back, good teacher Dr. Andrew Latchman - young, very funny, great to work with Dr. Frank O'Toole - hilarious, also a great teacher. does general peds + children's advocacy/abuse cases Dr. Ana Maria Sant'anna - very nice, likes to teach, specializes in peds GI (and does a lot of research in eosinophilic esophagitis...if you're interested) Best of luck!
