woodstock Posted May 7, 2007 Report Share Posted May 7, 2007 I am apparently late in the game for an away elective at UofT, they are filled into early next year. I am an American at a US med school, but I want to come up to Canada as I prefer the medical system and well, my grandmother was Canadian (NB). Any thoughts on NS at UofT? I have no sense of how competitive things are in Canada, as I am also thinking of applying for anesthesia and RadOnc electives. I suppose the thing with NS is that they only take one or two outside students a month so that makes it much harder than say, a medicine or peds rotation. Anyway, any thoughts on the department or on finding a place to stay for a few weeks in January-Feb? Brrrr ..... ! Maybe I should just look around at other uni's?
