bayervillager
Hello! I was browsing the U of S site and there's something that I don't quite understand - what does it mean by that the English credit must have both a "literature and composition"' component? Is "composition" just a fancy way of saying that I must have written essays in the English course or does it refer to something else? I'm very confused and I would greatly appreciate it if someone can explain it to me.
momo
Composition simply means you will have to write essays...that's it... and you will be marked on both style and grammar...they want to know you've taken a class that taught you how to communicate in writing properly... however, if you're still uncertain as to the appropriateness of your class I would suggest contacting their admissions, they are great and will probably get back to you quickly (well, after this week:p ).
