Half-year Orgo Course will not suffice for entry to US school?

I just wanted to confirm that my Half-year Orgo Chem course would not meet the pre-requsite of "Organic Chemistry and Labs 8 semester hours", which from what ive seen...all american dental schools require...

 

 

This means I'll have to take the 2nd half of orgo next year in order to apply to US schools... from what I see....

 

 

Can anyone just confrim this for me, as im not exactly sure what "8 semester hours" is in terms of a full/half year course?.... from what ive seen it is a full year course with lab...?

8 credit hours is equivalent to taking TWO semesters of organic lecture and lab. One semester of organic lecture with lab=4 credit hours.

Hope that helped (I did my undergrad in the states so I know this for a fact).
