Congratulations to all in Medicine 2011! I was wondering, other than the official holiday dates, do we have any other breaks, for example, reading week or study break. According to the 2007-2008 undergraduate calendar, there is a study break from Feb 18/08 to Feb 22/08, but I am not sure if this is true for our faculty. Thanks in advance! Medicine is on a different time line. Spring break for us is in March. This past year March break was the week of the 12th-16th. The dates for Christmas are the same, as are other holidays. You're not in Kansas anymore Dorthy We had from Dec. 15th - Jan 3rd off this year and we started classes on the 4th. I'm no math major but..... D+H exam right after Thanksgiving, INF after Xmas, etc. It is nice in that it gives you more time to study, but sometimes you just want a real holiday. I just went looking and here are your dates: Start: August 27, 2007 End: August 31, 2007 Orientation Week Start: September 4, 2007 Exam: October 12, 2007 Development & Homeostasis Start: October 15, 2007 Exam: November 16, 2007 Hematology and Neoplasia Start: November 19, 2007 End: December 14, 2007 Infection and Host Response Start: December 15, 2007 End: January 2, 2008 Holidays / Congé Start: January 3, 2008 Exam: January 11, 2008 Infection and Host Response Start: January 14, 2008 Exam: February 22, 2008 Cardiovascular Start: February 25, 2008 End: March 7, 2008 Respiratory Start: March 8, 2008 End: March 16, 2008 Spring Break Start: March 17, 2008 Exam: April 04, 2008 Respiratory Start: April 7, 2008 Exam: May 16, 2008 Renal Start: May 20, 2008 End: May 23, 2008 Week in the Country Sorry if the formatting is a bit ugly, I just copied and pasted it.
