sweet-buds
I know that French universities calculate CRU. but I would like to know if a McGill student has received grades out of 4.0; do they increase in UdM? I am attaching the link where it shows for all quebec universities except UdM and Laval? I would really appreciate if some one could guide me. Example, for UdM Is each course given a new GPA on 4.3 scale and then the Cgpa is calculated (for a student from McGill) or they just change the Cgpa on a 4.3 scale? torikmtl
Whether your GPA is on a 4.3 basis or on 4.0, it doesn’t matter. The GPA will be translated into a Z-score. http://www.etudes.umontreal.ca/info_gen/adm_universitaire_calcul.html Z = Your_GPA - Your_university_average according to the university you’re applying * ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- standard deviation of the university you’re from * * Varies from Laval, Sherbrooke or université de Montréal, this why you cannot calculate your own CRU. Those numbers depend on statistics calculations made by the university you’re applying with the students admitted and the university they’re from. Then the Z is transformed in CRU. http://www.etudes.umontreal.ca/info_gen/adm_universitaire_transformation.html
