Riona55
Hey guys, I don't know if this is the best place to post this question, but I only seem to have found anyone mentioning about interfolio in this folder so here it goes! I used interfolio to mail off my US reference letters. If i'm using some of hte same letters for canadian schools, can I use interfolio to send them off to those schools as well? (I'm thinking McGill, Laval, Sherbrooke, UBC, Calgary) Thanks for your help!
Jochi1543
I know Calgary has a specific form that it e-mails to your referees for them to fill out, so it definitely wouldn't work for U of C.
raptors
McGill yes Memorial in Newfoundland no I'm assuming BC no b/c they don't request them unless you have an interview. Not sure about the other schools.
Jochi1543
Well, since we're talking about schools beyond just those in OP's post -it won't work with OMSAS schools, either (because OMSAS has its own forms), and not with U of Alberta (their own form, again). bane
But your ref's should have access to the docs they upload to IntFol, so maybe they can retrieve them and re-use them and just tack on the OMSAS/Whoever forms.
KennethToronto
McGill yes McGill no because again, they want their own form. Canada has a very stupid system.
Madz25
I would recommend against using interfolio for Canadian schools. Most Canadian schools, as mentioned above, have their own form that the referee must fill out in addition to providing a letter.

That is surprising given I applied there last year and we had to include an additional "evaluation form" in addition to the letter of reference. But if McGill is deciding to go with Interfolio, I'm not complaining!
