How much do internists work? I realize this is largely dependant on the type of medicine practice (i.e. rheum/endo vs. cardio).

 

However, for the time consuming specialties, is it possible to be part of a community based practice and have a decent lifestyle?

 

Where does nephro rank in terms of hours/week? is it possible to be in such a specialty and not work a ton (obviously, you would take a hit financially).
