I am really confused with OMSAS between what a calander year and academic year is..

 

I started university for the academic year of 2000-2001 and I took biology as a full year course, so BIOL 101 is from the academic yr 2000 -2001 (which is also stated on my transcript)

 

On the omsas, it says that for a full year course in 2000-2001 academic year, list it as 2001?

 

Very confused here
