what's the point of the questions?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

From what I hear, Queen's grants you an interview so long as you make the cut offs (GPA and MCAT) and when you get interviewed, they don't even look at your essay questions (they only look at your sketch). So what's the point in having these questions? Do they just skim them to make sure you're not a psychopath?

Note that the interview score makes up 50% of the total post-interview mark. The rest comes from your application (sketch, reference letter and the questions). So if possible, spend some time on the answers to make sure they are really good for the length they allow for each question.

Also, I believe the interviewers have access to the answers to your questions. So they may ask questions related to that, or be biased to you based on that :D

really? i thought it was just your sketch that they had... My interviewers didn't mention or seem to know anything about what I wrote in my 5 answers...
