Essay - Help!

Hi everyone,

 

I've done all my other essays, but I haven't even started this one. U of T and UBC's personal statement were easy for me, I told the story of how I came to apply to medicine. But of MUN's essay, I have no idea where to even start.

 

Write an autobiographical sketch about who you are, how you spend your time and why.

 

How have you all approached this? Have you talked about your hobbies and EC's?

i think they use such a broad prompt just to see what the applicant comes up with. you choose what to include in a limited amount of space, so the things you do decide to touch on reflects what you personally consider important. with that said, i briefly mentioned school and why i chose my undergrad degree, hobbies i engage in, what i volunteer work i chose and why, etc.

write what you think is important and you can't go wrong.
