alert
Are there any med schools that offer direct entry from high school? I seem to remember that a university in Boston offers that. Thanks.
Jochi1543
Brown University....there's a few of them, but I don't remember the names. Brown is REALLY hard to get into though (Ivy League, basically). For most (if not all) of them, it's not actually a given that you will get the MD - many schools will still require you to take the MCAT and your MD offer may be rescinded if you score below a certain #. I don't know if any of these schools take international students...the $ would REALLY add up tho. At a school like Brown, it's about 40,000 a year for undergrad and 45,000 for MD, so over the course of 6-7 years you'd spend like $400K. I personally don't like these programs and think they are unnecessary.
Madz25
there are a few bsc/md programs in the US that take students directly out of high school. i believe the programs last 6 years. you may have to do SAT and/or MCAT. dont know if they accept international students.
