DentistWannaBe
I am not sure if this is the right section to ask for medical advices. I hope someone in med school here can provide some help since I trust you guys are more knowledgeable than me. My left knees have been hurting ocassionaly when I try to bend it forward or backward especially when I play basketball. I went to see my family physician regarding this problem and he took x-ray and told me nothing is wrong with my knee. However, such problem continues to go on for about 4 months. I don't think seeing my family physician again would help. Should I go see a different family physician? Or Should I go see a knee specialist? Or physiotherapist? Thank you
brooksbane
Asking people on a forum for medical advice isn't the most prudent thing to do. If you doubt a doctor's take on your condition, get a second opinion. Doctors can/will be wrong sometimes.

Pamina
You should see an ortho, maybe request a CT-Scan of the spine in addition to the knee X-rays. Did your family doc request any blood tests ( it could be an inflammation)? A good thing to do is to seek a second opinion. Good luck
janieK
You should see an ortho, maybe request a CT-Scan of the spine in addition to the knee ...um, no... ...you should either go back to your family physician OR see another primary care provider for a second opinion. I really think asking for and giving medical advice on this forum is not good... just my $0.02...
Dr.Cave
Why on earth would you CT the spine of someone with a mild knee problem?
AdamP
You should consult a specialist about having your leg sawed off, I know a man near my house that can do wonders with cows.

Ollie
Well, now that we have collectively come up with a differential diagnosis for a monoarthritis, let's all remember that there should be no requesting or giving of medical advice on the forum. To the OP, you should return to your family doctor, or go to a different family doctor if your knee continues to bother you.
Pamina
Did you hear of radiculopathy and spine root compression:p P.S. Although there should be some somatosensory signs as well as an abnormal patellar reflex.

Kuantum
I'm pretty sure we shouldn't be giving (or asking for) medical advice on an internet forum. To the OP, go to a family doctor.
