Sutler
Hey everyone, I would appreciate if anyone can help me with their insight. I'm 3rd year undergrad (biology / psychology double major). 1st year GPA = 3.44 2nd year GPA = 3.61 (32 credits) 3rd year GPA = 3.79 hopefully higher (year not over) (32 credits) NOTE: full course load each year unless otherwise specified. Do I stand a chance? What can I improve? Where do I stand a chance with my current stats? Tips? Thanks a lot. -Sutler

1234
i regards to ECs, 1 day of shadowing means nuthin to med schools - in Canada, shadowing is not a priority. Rather, they want to see that you are doing things that you like, and are committed to your passions. 20 ECs you did for 1 month would look worse than 5 ECs that you have been committed to for multiple years. Hence, it is very difficult to substantially improve your ECs within 6-12 months. What you can improve are your reference letters, your essay and your mcat.
