Interview weight

Recommended Posts

I have a question which may have been addressed before, but an update would be appreciated.

How does Queen's evaluate you after the interview stage? Do they still look at GPA, MCAT, etc? I have some vague memory of having heard that the interview is 50% and your questions the other 50%. Is there truth to this figment of my imagination?

Thanks a bunch!

Found it:

"Applicants who successfully make these cuts are invited for an interview and their academic marks are no longer considered in the admission process. Those applicants are then assessed based on personal experiences and personal characteristics through an interview and on answers submitted to a written questionnaire." (http://meds.queensu.ca/undergrad/admissions/frequently_asked_questions)

But still, any insights on the post-interview ranking process?

WOW, I had no idea that our marks/MCAT don't play a role at all for Queen's post-interview!
