Health related professions and staying in Australia

For anyone interested:

 

If you do a degree in any of the following you can very easily get a PR and stay in Australia:

 

- Optometry

- Dentistry

- Chiropractor

- Podiatrist

- Physiotherapist

 

Most of the above are 4 year degrees which do not require any addtional training...dentistry does require an extra year of internship though (I believe).

 

With Optometry, Chriopractor and perhaps Podiatrist (though not 100% sure about this one) your chances of returning to Ontario are very bright. Dentistry though the outlook isn't that great.
