THX
I was wondering what my fellow premeds thought the effect of having somewhat mediocre academic LORs would be? I have a two great volunteer/job letters, but my 3 academic LORs (I'm applying to the states as well) will be a bit generic considering my profs don't know me that well. Thoughts? Should I bribe/blackmail them to write glowing letters?
kent
yes. tell them that if they write you a good reference letter that when you become a doctor, you'll return the favour by prescribing them what ever meds they'd like. if that doesn't work, bust out the piggy bank.
