JanDoc
Hi everybody: I am not sure about this. I read through the admission package maybe more than ten times... but still don't get it. Here is my case: I'm in my 3rd year but only took 1st year: 5 full credits 2nd: 4.5 credits summer: 1 credit 3rd: 4.5 credits So, I only have one full course load year which is my first year. Western says one of two years should have more than three >2nd year courses. My question is, can I apply just with my first year mark as my best year? Thanks in advance. blinknoodle
Yes, you can apply. You only need one year >3.7 to apply. If you are successful, you will be offered admission provided your 4th year is fullt-ime and >3.7.

How are GPAs calculated? Only those years in which at least 5 full or equivalent courses (30 credit hours) are taken between September and April will be used in the calculation of GPA admission cutoffs. When students are required to take more than 5 full courses during any September to April academic year because of program requirements, the five best courses will be used in the calculation of GPA admission cutoffs. I would recommend taking 5 full course in your last year.
