Averages for Canadians getting into Irish Medical Schools???

Just wondering...

Does anyone have an idea of the MCAT and GPA average of Canadians who were accepted into the FIVE year program?

hey there,

this is a bit of a contentious issue as i understand it...a friend of mine got into ucd in 2000 with a 3.2/3.3 gpa in a 4 year biochem degree with a 33Q on his mcats...i see the 3.3 gpa bounced around here quite a bit but i'm not sure how accurate that is....i got an e-mail directly from the atlantic bridge saying that they don't use a cutoff and that each application is looked at individually. they also said that, unlike north american schools, they are not at all numbers oriented, and that the reputation/quality of the school you did your undergrad at really does play a role. hope this helps!
