Gavanshir
I'm a Canadian citizen and a US permanent resident and I'm just now finalizing the list of schools that I'll be applying to the in States. Anybody else in the same shoes as me? I'm trying to decide whether I should apply to Wayne state or not considering that I'm applying as an American through AMCAS and chances of getting an interview as a Canadian are much better than as an out of state American! Gavanshir
Might not have been the most accurate statement but they send out quite a few interview invites for Canadians only. According to MSAR, in 2006-07, 321 Canadians applied and 66 were interviewed. That's slightly above 20%. While in the same cycle, 1899 out of state residents applied and 147 were interviewed (7.7%).
