Have you joined the Facebook group? There is a lot of information about housing in a thread there. The link is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=18484268265.

 

I have bought a condo at 165 Ontario Street (Ontario/Johnson). A few other people have bought, in either the downtown area or further west (5-10 min drive). Most people seem to have rented, with the downtown area being very popular.
