Sutler
From their website: "Students who have graduated from a Canadian or American university at the time of application can write an English Exemption Test." Does that mean that anyone who has not taken English but is completing courses during the application cycle cannot apply if they do not take English as one of their courses? kgmed23
1st year English is a pre=req for admission. However, if you have not taken a full year of english and will not be taking it during the application cycle, you can write the english exemption test to fulfill the english requirement. Sutler
UBC replied to my email with this: The English Exemption Test is a courtesy offered to graduates only. If you have not yet graduated at the time of your application submission, you would be required to complete the English courses as noted on the pre-requisite table: http://www.med.ubc.ca/education/md_ugrad/MD_Undergraduate_Admissions/Admission_Requirements.htm#Prerequisite1. Please note that you have until April 30, 2009 to finish pre-requisite courses. Just a heads up to those without english.
