thecoolest47
Hi, I was just wondering if Western had wifi in the areas that med students frequent (ie. hospitals, med sci)? Thanks
koft
Hospital is independent from the UWO wifi system, they have their own system as far as I know. Otherwise, you will be able to login with most places on campus. ________ VAPORIZERS

thecoolest47
thanks for the replies. I was also wondering whether or not the medical program had a student lounge on the uwo campus. If so, what's in it?
crush
yes, there is wifi in most areas of the medical sciences building/uwo campus, including the lecture hall. You need a login and service is patchy sometimes. We also do have a "computer lab" in the medical sciences building for medical/dental/nursing/etc students that has probably around 60-70 computers. hospital (at LHSC anyway), yes, is different and is hard for a student to get on their personal computer (but really - you shouldn't be lugging your comptuer around the hospital). In terms of a student lounge, we have a very nice one in the medical sciences buildling - leather couches, big screen TV, pool table, wooden floors and bookshelves, stained glass windows...
