n00b
Does anyone know how AQ scores are calculated? What is the conversion from regular GPAs out of 4.0 or like OMSAS GPAs to AQs?
mistah_g
Although it's difficult to try to discern how they get a score out of 25 without actually knowing their formula, these are some "facts" that are generally regarded to be true: The AQ score out of 25 consists of two parts: 15 marks for overall average 10 marks for last 60 credits Each of those two sections is scored separately. An average of 85+ will get you FULL marks in that section. Besides that, you may want to look through previous threads, as I believe some people were trying to deduce the formula based on a pool of AQ scores and averages. funkmunk
hello, someone wrote in a previous thread that the AQ is calculated in the following way: (Overall%)*60+(Last60%)*40 = C AQ = 1.0422*©–63.8 With the seven data sets, it's within 0.3 AQ points. I hope this helps give a ballpark figure.
FlunkingWithStyle
A solid 85% average should give you full marks for the AQ.
n00b
What is an 85% on a 4.0GPA scale?
medisforme
well, most 4.0 scales have an A at 86%, so i guess it would be a little lower than 4.
