OneDay
I haven't started my UBC application yet. I have been super busy with MCAT/MSc defense. I am sure I can get the online application form done in time. But I'm more worried about the documents to mail in. The admissions website says we need to include a transcript (showing registration in pre-reqs), proof of citizenship, and "other documents". First what is "other documents"? I am an Ontario resident, so I don't need to send highschool transcripts. I just want to make sure I send in everything on time. Anyone else from Ontario who has applied to UBC before? medisforme
you only need to show citizenship documents if you were born outside of canada. and the "other" documents only applies to submitting your high school transcipts if you are using high school attendance as your reason for claiming bc residency. AndrewB
If more than one of the residency requirements applies, which one should you pick? Does it matter? It going to be a hassle to have to mail high school transcripts.
medisforme
well, if you don't want to mail high school documents then don't choose the high school attendance category when you claim bc residency, if you can choose something else. it doesn't really matter what you pick, most of them probably apply to most bc residents who are applying. For any more questions, all you have to do is search the "application help" section of the online application form.
