KamG
Based on all your previous experience, if i write mcat september 13, will i get my score back by october 15th? Im just asking because that is when Calgary application score is due. Thanks.
Freedom
Tentative score release date is Oct.14, so assuming there are no delays, you should be good. I think there were delays last year for at least one of the dates.. just hope it's not your date is delayed.
Jochi1543
They are generally pretty understanding, so if it's a problem solely on the AAMC's end, I'm sure they'd allow you to submit the score a day or 2 late - as long as the suggested release date is before the deadline, I wouldn't worry about it. Sheena815
Hopefully- I think my scores were delayed two or three days, but I'd hope the school would be understanding in this scenario, since its AAMC's fault. Might want to give the school a quick call/ email and ask what they would do in the event of a delay in scores.
seeking1
Just as a reminder, when does everyone think the best time to write the MCATs is?
register
There is no best time, though summer is a good choice cause you don't have to worry about school and can concentrate on studying for the MCAT. Take it the year before you plan to apply. Take it an extra year early if you don't think you'll score that well the first time.
futuredoc
I've heard from some people that a good time to write would be in January since you can use the winter break to prepare. Wouldn't that just make you tired for the winter semester?
medisforme
I emailed UofC about this and they said that there is no penalty if the results arrive a day or two late. not sure about any other schools though.
