nothingdoing
Hi all, Quick question: I read somewhere on this forum (of course I can't find it now) that rural suitability is not a factor when assessing OOP applicants. Can anyone verify this? Just wondering if I should leave that section blank as an OOP. Thanks!
Jixe
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by "it's not a factor." It's definitely a factor if you're like to study in the rural program. If you're referring to whether or not it gives your application an advantage in receiving an interview, I'm not sure. I don't think it should.
Mick
I left it blank last year, and was given an interview as an OOP student, so I don't think it makes a difference in determining who gets an interview
nothingdoing
the impression I got - again from reading other ppl's post (which may be the problem) - was that they don't consider your rural suitability so it wouldn't be worthwhile to fill it out. of course it may have been a sudde bout of dyslexia on my part... thanks for the input so far
