International Experience

From what i hear its been a strong positive point and almost a requirement to have some form of international experience and world knowledge on your resume...just wondering if this is still viewed upon in a similar manner or if a person that has never gone internationally for anything other than sport would be viewed any differently.

International experience is absolutely NOT a requirement (almost or otherwise). It would probably be a positive point to your supplementary info, but worthwhile volunteer, extracurricular, and community experience closer to home is just as valuable.
