Interviews

Recommended Posts

Generally speaking, does an interview make or break your chances of admission or is it just another part of the application process? If you happen to have stellar stats, are adcoms more forgiving if your interview was just OK as opposed to great?

The mean interview score for admitted applicants at UofT was 28/35. How hard is it to get such a score?

I'm just trying to get an idea of how important the interview is.

Thanks.

I had above average stats (gpa & DAT) both years I applied to dentistry. First yr I scored a 20 on the interview and didn't get in second yr I scored a 33 and got into 4 schools. Not getting in and sucking at the interview was the motivation to form my company http://www.topstatinterview.com cause I don't want to see people have to wait the entire year to reapply like I had to.
