myth00
I'll test as INTJ or ENFJ, "N" something depending on mood. What do you think is the dominant personality type of med-students?
bugette
There is actually someone doing a study about this (I received an email asking me to participate in the study). I believe it will also look at personality type and the specialty the medical student ultimately ends up choosing. Don't know when the study results will be available. w8kg6
That was kind of fun. I just did the Jung personality test and scored as ESTP. Here's the blurb it gave me below: Extroverted (E) 67.5% Introverted (I) 32.5% Sensing (S) 54.05% Intuitive (N) 45.95% Thinking (T) 66.67% Feeling (F) 33.33% Perceiving (P) 53.13% Judging (J) 46.88% ESTP - "Promotor". Action! When present, things begin to happen. Fiercely competitive. Entrepreneur. Often uses shock effect to get attention. Negotiator par excellence. 4.3% of total population. It was worth it, haha. Most of those were pretty close to right on the line, so I don't know how accurate it really is, but oh well.

BigManOnCampus
As a psych specialist in undergrad I can tell you the psychometrics of the MBTI are pretty shoddy. Just about every prof I've ever had who fielded a question on the MBTI tore it a new one. If you want a good personality assessment, take the BFI or NEO-PI-R. They're available online for free, just Google it.
