Madz25
hey guys, just wondering for rad electives - should you NOT do a 3 week elective and only do 2 week ones? or does it even matter? just confused about how many rad electives to do and for what length of time. thanks! edited to add: will it look odd if one was to not do a rad elective at one's home school? Lactic Folly
I preferred to do all 2 week electives and visit more schools. 2 weeks should be enough to get a feel for the program, and meet the people. If you are able to spend enough time with one person, it is also enough to eke out a reference letter. If you are already known to your home school and have spent time in the department (such as through research), then an elective there is probably redundant.
