kylamonkey
Girls don't enjoy sports. They just pretend that they do to attract men. I had to call my husband upstairs to watch the final few minutes of the gold medal game. no, he's not gay. I don't think.
nosuperman
Thanks for the advice. However, it's a sticky situation. We get along fine - actually, the two of us get along great! We're really close friends, but there's something called grad school, distance and wacko schedules. All of the mentioned are creating unnecessary annoyances that are out of our controls. However, that being said, both of us try our best to work out every little detail of our life/schedule before telling one another about a sudden change in it - we're both guilty of this. But what can I say: I dislike MSN, phone, fb.... I love face-to-face convos and when you haven't seen each other for a long while.... lol. So, I'm annoyed at the situation. But that's life. Either way, we figured out a way around this. Let's hope nothing else comes in the way until then. Aw Same situation here actually, but been making it work for the last 2 years and couldn't be happier! She's also a rabid star wars fan so maybe there's something to that? Well, maybe there is. If she was a spoiled brat, probably wouldn't work. Haha. But I'm just assuming she's not a spoiled brat when she watches Star Wars. leap87
Me too. Pi was one of my favorites. I must say Requiem for a Dream had me. I was waiting for another one of those types of movies from him. This might be it. I'm getting chills. I never saw Pi. I was about to watch it tonight. deeman101
If anyone knows how to deal with the SAAQ, PM me.... I'm pretty much trying to register my car in QC with my mom's name (even though she will stay in ON) even though she has an expired ON driver's license and can't actually drive. They're making this so hard! Simon, please post, or I will progressively reveal more and more about you on the forum that you stalk daily.
future_doc
The owner of a vehicle does not need to have a driver's licence. Presumably, the owner will have an address in Quebec, b/c if the owner has an address in ON, then that is the place to register it. Also, the new owner would need to present themselves at the office of the SAAQ to sign for oownership registration (unless unable to do so personally and SAAQ accept the signature on the form without the owner being present). Insurance would need to show you as primary driver and the premium would be set accordingly, driving to and fro would be a factor in determining the premium b/c of increased risk expsosure. In Quebec, there is no fault insurance, not so in ON., also I believe there is increased exposure for personal injury in ON.
Cnussey
We're getting ours registered next week (if it passes inspection! They aren't required in NL!). That sounds like the one sports-medicine specialist I saw in Munich who had me down as "Mr" Caylynn. I thought it was pretty obvious when you saw me, doc, that I was a woman. LostLamb can vouch for the fact that I look pretty much like a woman.

Caylynn
Yay! I found an Alberta beer that I actually like to drink. Grasshöpper - it even has the German umlaut over the o! No preservatives, which I'm sure is part of the reason I like it - Canadian beer has such a horrible aftertaste to me after four years of drinking German and Bavarian beers brewed under the German and Bavarian beer purity laws (which basically state the only ingredients allowed in beer are: water, hops, malted barley or malted wheat, and yeast - and NO preservatives or pasteurization). Although I'm trying to cut down my beer consumption - school starts soon, so yeah, I have to limit my beer. Plus, it is a LOT more expensive here than in Germany. And through the whole move/living in hotels for a month/etc. I've gained about 10 pounds which I now need to lose, so cutting out beer will definitely be a step in the right direction. But it's nice to know I've found a beer that tastes good.
shannn
I hereby offer you my class of 2015 backpack if I get accepted for next yr. I know it's not really a consolation, but if you want it the offer is there. I wouldn't use it anyways, but I wouldn't be able to give it salvation army (obviously). I'll take you up on that offer when you get in next year I'm looking forward to this CMA bbq now...see what they have to say about it.
