Yup, the sheet that came with the registration materials "E-mail and T-Cards in the Faculty of Medicine" is a bit vague. This here is pretty clear and says: Q. What happens if I change faculties, college or personal name?A. You must obtain a replacement TCard which will bear the new information. There is no charge for this card. The old TCard must be returned to the TCard Office before a new card can be issued. Any unused cash value on the old TCard will be refunded. I think that answers your question. Also, think about it. Your TCard is your ID. Someone might ask you to ID yourself as a med student--when, for example, you're going into the anatomy lab/museum or getting a hospital ID badge made.
