btf1010
Im on my way to completing my Biology degree, and I am thinking of adding a chemistry minor to the title. It would require 3 more, upper level chemistry classes. I know which ones I would pick, and they are all semi-hard, but I cant see them hurting my GPA if I put in the effort. Is it worth doing a minor? Does it mean anything? Does it help you when you apply?
sparkles3288
I got my Bsc in microbiology and added a minor in psychology. I only did it for the simple reason that I really like psychology and had taken so many courses that it wasn't a big deal to add a few more (and it only helped my GPA). I don't think it really adds anything to your application, but it certainly dosen't hurt matters. Just do it because you want to =).
The Law
For med school, it makes no difference. I would do a minor if you're going to get to take some fun courses doing it.
