Guest neetche
hi guys. I need an honest opinion. I'm currently enrolled p/t at UofT, life sciences. My goal is to obtain my Bsc., write the mcat and apply to meds. Because I work full time, and support a family, going to school full time is not an option right now. Infact I may not be able to go f/t until my 3rd year or so. The way that gpa's are determined, do I even stand a chance of being accepted, even if my marks are within the accepted range?. Guest Kirsteen
Hi neetche, If you're talking about being accepted to UofT then of course you do have a chance! Although they will not apply the special set of elimination rules to you, i.e., a certain number of courses eliminated from consideration if the applicant has maintained 5.0 courses per year, they will certainly consider you under the alternative scheme. (That being all of your courses considered equally with no elimination of courses from the academic evaluation.) Good luck when your application year comes around! Cheers, Kirsteen
Guest neetche
thanks Kirsteen. I have this vision of 6 yrs of schooling, only to find out that I was ineligible from day one.
