future_doc
Hopefully, the beginning of something wonderful. The Higher Military Council takes control. Swiss government seized Mobarak family assets. Next to go is Secret Police. Billions will need to be returned. Ex-Ministers have had their passports taken. Accountable for their actions and money! Corruption and torture - all gone now. May democracy sweep through the Region. Power and freedom to the people. US President to speak in 90 minutes. Many people are still in detention. What will happen in days ahead?
thatonekid
Corruption and torture - all gone now.I doubt this goal is achievable.
future_doc
Military professionalism allowed revolution to occur. Military will curtail torture and corruption. Time will tell the full story. Meanwhile, Middle East no longer same. Like downfall of the Berlin Wall. Course of history changed forever - peacefully! Mubarak has been faced down courageously. Free and fair elections are coming. Fear of dictators has been defeated. Egyptian people have reclaimed their country. They did it without being organized. This is a day to remember. thatonekid
“The moral force of non-violence” wins. What was he supposed to say? The moral victory is well deserved. I'm just hesitant about the result. Things like this have happened before. Then things went back to "before"; once the world stopped paying attention.
