Guest doctorfunk
It is well documented that the UofT interview selection process is calculated as follows: 60% academic assessment ( 40% non-academic assessment (sketch, essay, references) My question is, where does the interview performance fit into this? Is the admission offer based solely on the interview (ie. every applicant who is invited for an interview is on equal footing prior to the interview), or is there a re-weighting of the elements that incorporates the interview performance (ie. the previous 60/40 score is given a 0.8 weighting and the interview a 0.2 weighting)? Any thoughts?
Guest batman
Although the moderaters on this board would know best, I believe it's the same as last year, with the interview comprising 20% of the total score (therefore half of the non-academic score). Guest cheech10
I wouldn't put much stock into the 60/20/20 split. IMO, it all comes down to the interview, and this seems to be the general consensus among those I've talked to in my class. Once you get an interview, a strong one gets you in, a weak one leaves you out.
